At The Elgin, we host relaxed, intimate wedding receptions for couples who want to gather their favourite people, enjoy incredible food and drinks, and celebrate in one of Notting Hill’s most characterful pubs.
Our wedding receptions are designed for smaller celebrations that feel personal, informal and full of atmosphere. Whether you’re saying “I do” at a nearby registry office or elsewhere in London, The Elgin is the perfect place to continue the celebrations with family and friends.
Your wedding will take place across our beautiful first-floor spaces.
Begin with arrival drinks and canapés in The Round Room before moving into The Long Room for a seasonal sit-down wedding breakfast, suitable for up to 24.
After the speeches, return to The Round Room for another drink and cake cutting before The Long Room is transformed into your own private party space to dance the night away, with room for up to 40 of your favourite people.
Your whole day is complete with private bar and exclusive-use facilities for you and your guests.
Choose from three carefully curated wedding packages, each featuring seasonal menus, with the option to personalise your celebration with upgraded drinks packages, extra canapés and late-night favourites, including gourmet toasties and cheese boards.
Glass of Nyetimber & canapés on arrival and half bottle of wine per person, with the option of a two course or three course wedding breakfast.
Glass of champagne & canapés on arrival and half bottle of premium wine per person, with the option of a two course or three course wedding breakfast, followed by some late-night bites.
This pub is always the best choice. The food is great and staff is kind, efficient and welcoming. Best pub in my neighbourhood. No surprise I got married here.

You’re welcome in from 10am to set up on the day.
We can seat up to 24 guests, including the happy couple, for your wedding breakfast and up to 40 guests for the evening drinks and dancing.
We simply provide crockery, cutlery and glassware. Any additional decorations will need to be provided by yourselves so that the space is suited to your own taste. Please note we kindly ask for no blu tac or tape used on our walls.
Unfortunately due to allergen risks and quality control, no. However we have a brilliant team of chefs and a seasonal menu featuring multiple options for dining – from sit downs to canapés.
Due to licensing restrictions, unfortunately not, however each of our private rooms have the option for you to plug in with your own playlist via an aux cable.
If there are any dietary requirements or allergies in your wedding party, we can absolutely cater to provide for these. If you’re looking for something a little more bespoke, please get in touch with our friendly team.
